Employment history

March 2001-October 2003 Pontins Wall Park

For two years his Blue Coat responsibilities were varied, he sang and danced in all  the 12 shows, lead the chilldren's clubs in the evenings, called bingo,  D J'd, compared the family disco and cabarets and compared the many events that occurred through out the daytime.

A big part of being a Blue Coat at pontins was character work, Joff appeared in many of the characters for several different activities.
He  was a rather confident blue coat, because of this he was also given the responsibility of hosting the late night Cabarets and Shows that took place in the adult bar.

The shows that took place at pontins were of a very high standard and he was lucky enough to be principle vocalist in many of the shows, shows such as"The Lion King", "The Little Shop of Horrors"  "Chicago"and "We Will Rock You".

Also in the Adult bar he was able to perform his  own Cabaret on a two week basis.

2003-October 2006 March Thomson Holidays

For the next two years he was an Entertainer in adult and family hotels.

The job had many different aspects such as, producing a varied entertainments program for the day time and evening, directing and maintaining many high standard  variety shows, performing high standard ‘TV game show like formats, comparing presentations, children’s discos and cabaret acts. One of the most important parts of this job in particular is having a high standard of customer service.

In 2005 he was promoted to an Entertainment Contingency. This meant he had to travel around the Med to hotels that were either struggling to make their targets, missing entertainers, training new employeess and existing entertainers. He also had the task of slotting in to a team and fitting in to it almost at once, so that the team structure was left uncompromised.

In 2006, His final season with 'Thomson Holidays' He was successfully promoted to Entertainment Coordinator for Lanzerotie and Fueraventora. This meant He was in charge of the entertainment programs in three Thomson hotels and for the entertainers themselves. If one of his team needed to know anything at all remotly to do with entertainment  he was their first port of call.

2007 March 2007 October Open wide International

After auditioning for Open wide, He was hired as a male vocalist in the Openwide International production cast.

He was also asked to be Coordinatorfor the team.  It was his responsibility to lead the cast of singers, resident band and technician.
His duties included rehearsing the production team, rehearsing all light ents shows, training the technician, dreawing up rote’s,  general maintenance of the whole entertainment program in the hotel, performing in the 6 production shows, leading all comparing, hosting the light ents, leading some of the  daytime duties and meeting regulary with Thomson managment and Hotel managment.

The 6 month season was a very productive season, my hotel came in at number one in the C.S.Q.S (customer satisfaction questionnaires) scores for the entire season.
Making my team the number one scoring team in the Thomson Gold program, this  was out of 18 hotels around the world

2008 March 2008 October T.P.A/ TED UK

This was the same job he had done the year earlier, the only difference this year was that T.P.A/ TED UK had  took over the contract with Thomson Holidays.

As the Managing Director of T.P.A and Creative director of the company had seen him perform  a year earlier they offered him the same job as he had done the previous year. so he was sent out to Portugal with his 3 other vocalists, band and technicion

After a great 6 months of work/play his team and himself returned home.

2009 January- 31st July 2009 The Production Suite

Again this was the same kind of work as the previous 2 years.

He worked in a 'First choice Holiday Village for family's.This was a diffefrent audience to what he was used to but at the same time it  was a challenge he felt he was up for.

There were 5 shows, 2 production team shows, 2 spectacular shows (featuring magic, illusion, gymnastics and circus skills also singing and dancing) and finaly a pantomime.

Sadley he had to leave this contract early (the first time in his career), but he very was glad to have worked for The Production Suite for the 6 months.
